Smoky mountain ridges

Sexual abuse for boys can feel like a tsunami has hit and taken over your life. Now as an adult, you are trying to make sense of what happened.  All the ways it has affected you, your relationships.  How you coped with what happened.  What was healthy coping and what was not so healthy coping. For many the burden is significant.  Many have felt they have lost a part of themselves.

You can however, reclaim your life and feel empowered once again.

Most male survivors carry the burden of shame.  Revealing what happened can feel too vulnerable.  Fear of judgments keeps many survivors silent.

I work with male survivors to overcome and let go of self judgements and beliefs that keep you stuck in the story of victim.

Do any of the following resonate with you?

  • You’ve lost trust with people in general.
  • You are confused about your sexual orientation.
  • You feel that what happened to you has changed you forever for the worse.
  • You blame yourself for what happened.
  • You believe that who you are as a man, your masculinity has suffered.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that You are whole. Your reaction to what happened is normal. You can reclaim your body, your emotions. What happened in your past does not have to define you.

On The Healing Journey, You Can Gain The Courage To Be Your True Self

It is possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you could…

  • Let go of the burdens you have been carrying.
  • Have trust and intimacy in your relationships.
  • See yourself as whole again.
  • To trust yourself and your decisions.
  • To find peace and forgiveness.

Step Back And Focus On Healing

You can rise above your challenges and start moving towards your ideal life with less less confusion and more confidence

You can develop a new mindset to finally resolve things from your past and find peace and contentment with who you are..

Even if you are not usually comfortable opening up to people, therapy for survivors may be able to help.

I’ve helped men who have suffered from childhood sexual abuse return to feeling whole again. They no longer define themselves from the past. A new available energy comes with lifting the burden.

How The Healing Journey Works

Therapy sessions consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, I will provide guidance based on my experience, I play an active role. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

1. First, I provide a safe, accepting space.

2. Keeping your unique goals in mind, we’ll figure out what’s needed to help you reach them.

4. There is no one way to experience sexual abuse. Everyone’s story is different.

5. We will look at the impact the abuse has had in your personal life and relationships.

6. Work with the balance of masculine and feminine energy.  Understand how each has changed in you and what role each plays in your life.

7. Forgiveness does not come right away. Your healing journey is unique. This is about reclaiming your life.

Research shows that therapy for survivors can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
